Lachtal Valley is among the most popular and largest ski areas in Austria’s Styria region where
great snow packing is guaranteed at about 1600 – 2222 meters above sea level.
Our ski area comes with 25 km of blue-red-black skiing slopes, and 10 km of skiing routes, all of
them perfectly prepared. Totaling about 150 hectares of sunny ski slopes, two modern six-person
chairlifts (including weather protection hoods), eight ski lifts, a skiing circus for children with an
exercise lift, a magic carpet, a Native American tipi… There also is a snowboarding park, a
snowboarding school, a cross-country trail, a toboggan run, an ice rink.

In summer, Lachtal Valley is a starting point for beautiful hiking tours in the
mountains.
Also, Gellsee is a fishing paradise.
It is located about 2,5 km away from our cottage.
Within about 10 – 30 minutes car ride you will be reaching:
Thermal Spa Aqualux in Fohnsdorf - Red-Bull-Ring in Spielberg (formula 1, DTM, airshows,
MotoGP, motor sport and other events) - golf course - miniature golf - horse riding - climbing park -
